Our Story

Cacau & Patrícia Mangabeira

Photographers Cacau and Patrícia Mangabeira have been working side by side for over 20 years, building a shared vision grounded in trust, experience, and a deep respect for storytelling through images.

With more than 30 years of professional experience, Cacau brings a distinguished background in editorial photography, having photographed for Brazil's leading magazines and serving as the personal photographer of Ivete Sangalo, Brazil's most iconic singer, for 17 years.

Now based in Maui, Cacau Mangabeira Photography represents the continuation of a life dedicated to capturing authentic moments with intention and sensitivity — guided by the belief that the next photograph should always be the best work of a lifetime.

Elevated, natural photography experiences — families, couples, maternity, beach weddings, and Haleakalā sunset sessions. We work on a Pay Per Photo model: no packages, no pressure, just the images you love.

There are no preset packages and no required minimums when selecting images in person. You choose your favorite photos after the session and invest only in what you select. A remote gallery option is available for $200 (5 photos included).

One outfit — 45 minutes. Two outfits — 1h15. Three outfits — 1h30. Weddings and special celebrations get customized coverage time.

Once you've selected your images, your final edited photographs are delivered within 24 hours, in high resolution — so you can enjoy and share your Maui memories while they're still fresh.
